Devon Wills is to Women’s International Lacrosse what Tim Howard is to Men’s World Cup soccer. She is the USA goalie, and many people may not know of anyone else who could be considered interchangeable in regard to her position. I do not mean to overstep this particular accomplishment, nor do I wish to state that any of her other achievements should hold greater or lesser weight by comparison. Weighted significance aside, I simply want you to take a moment to appreciate how many accolades this player has. They are absolutely staggering.

The Ocean City Lacrosse Classic is a long standing tournament on the Maryland coast. Tyler Bortner, a high level stringer here at SSLax, was invited to play with the East Coast Dyes Team. We could not let him go down there with boring white stick so we mocked up an Ocean City themed stick. We added our favorite food spots, some board walk rides, and an overall color theme that screams summer fun at the beach.

HeadStrong is a foundation that supports blood cancer research in honor of Nick Colleluori. Nick was an avid lacrosse player and the community is the heart of the foundation.
