Stylin Strings is proud to be the official lacrosse stick stringers and dye artists for the University of Virginia for the fourth consecutive year. A lacrosse program with 36 NCAA tournament appearances, second most of all-time and seven national championships overall. http://www.virginiasports.com. This has solidified the value & quality of our services across all levels of lacrosse players from youth on up.
It’s rewarding providing world-class players with a product they know and trust every year. Supplying their program, gives us an opportunity to grow and learn with a top notch NCAA lacrosse program providing us feedback. As you may have read before we have recently added Notre Dame to our list of NCAA powerhouses that we service. Stringing sticks for a past Tewaaraton winner as well as some of the best players in the nation gives us a chance to see what they use, and how the wear and maintain so that we are able to provide the same quality lacrosse pockets to players of all ages. We used Virginia to develop pockets strictly for NCAA use. Stringing around this rule change helped them maintain confidence and consistency through the year. Different throwing styles and player mechanics are taken into consideration with each detail placed in each players lacrosse pocket.
An excellent team needs a brilliant coach and Dom Starsia is one of the greatest coaches of all time. We are grateful to have such an association with him and his team. It is reassuring to meet a coach that understands how important lacrosse pockets are to the sport. http://youtu.be/UbQacIJol94 As Justin Skaggs, COO of Stylin Strings puts it “Watching Starsia coach his team and the family environment that surrounds his program is quite extraordinary. It is an exceptional honor that he acknowledges our product benefits his team.”
We want to thank the University of Virginia lacrosse program and are proud to say that we provide pockets and dyes for such a team and look forward to our continued relationship.
